“I Don’t Worry About the Future—Because I’m Creating It with Passion and Precision”: Meet a Skillwill Graduate Shaping the Digital World
Teenagers still in school are already taking their first steps into the tech world. How do they discover new interests, develop essential skills, and plan for a digital future?
The answers come from Skillwill’s weekly “Business Partner” column, Learn What Really Works. This week’s guest is Tamar Khubua, a graduate of the IT Project Management and Analysis course.
“I’ve liked technology since I was little. I often sat at the computer watching how small startups were built—it fascinated me,” Tamar recalls.
“After the Techno Park opened in Senaki, I attended a 3D modeling course, which helped deepen my knowledge. Later, I discovered Skillwill during one of the mentorship sessions. I looked through their courses and chose the one that interested me most—IT Project Management and Analysis.”
Through the course, Tamar learned various project planning methodologies, how to manage startup development, and how to support and collaborate with a team.
“One of the most valuable skills I gained was teamwork. At first, it felt strange to connect with strangers, especially online, but I eventually adapted. I believe this is an essential skill for any future manager,” she notes.
With a solid foundation in tech and teamwork, Tamar is now focused on developing her own startup alongside her teammates.
“I feel I’ve fully grasped this profession, and I’m ready to move forward with our startup idea.”
