Hereti Global to Acquire the Right to Sell Wine in New Jersey
Hereti Global, a company importing Georgian wine to the United States, has acquired the right to sell wine in New Jersey.
The co-founder of the importer company, Avtandil Chkheidze mentioned, that they plan to export the wine to 20-30 locations in the United States.
"We were exporting our wine to only New York until the 1st March of 2021. Since the state of New Jersey allowed us to distribute, we started negotiations and degustations with network stores. Currently, we want to add 20-30 locations. The price of different varieties of wine of Alazani Estate Winery will be $18-22.", noted Avtandil Chkheidze.
The company started exporting wine in the September of 2020 with 16,500 bottles and until this moment, it has distributed wines to 35 locations in New York.
"We plan to bring 33,000 bottles of wine from two containers in the near future. As for our plans, we are thinking of bringing wine to Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia, Washington, Florida, California, and Texas, though this will happen in stages. We have a plan to enter 50 states."
