Guria Fish Farming Plans to Export Norwegian Salmon
Guria Fish Farming plans to export Norwegian salmon produced in Guria.
According to the founder of the company, Giorgi Chkhaidze, the scale of production allows them to supply the product to both local and European, or Asian markets, while the company itself purchases salmon spawn from Norway.
The project envisages the production of fish in water reservoirs using modern technologies. Reservoirs are supplied with Black Sea water through a special pipe.
The total amount of investment is 8,5 million GEL, from which 5 million GEL is financed by the state programme "Enterprise Georgia".
