Gloves and Socks Added to Bebias Handcrafted Hats

After making handcrafted hats, Bebias decided to add a new production line of gloves and socks. the company decided to start manufacturing new products despite the pandemic. As the founder supposes, sales will be smaller then it is expected, perhaps, small income will be significant for retired employees during a crisis.

Nearly 20 elderly people will make Bebias production in this current season. 

"We were thinking before the pandemic, that we would be able to sell up to 2000 hats in the winter season of 2020. Now, we consider the sale of 500 units as a positive forecast. Despite this, we will add a new production line.", noted the founder of the company.

The main problem is the restrictions imposed on the sale markets, as the company notes. Giorgi Nozadze defines, that mainly, production was sold on Sunday markets which are now on a smaller scale due to coronavirus restrictions.

Giorgi Nozadze also mentioned that buyers prefer to purchase hats on-site due to the specifics of its use.
