German toy manufacturer Goki is interested in toy manufacturing in Georgia.

As Kote Svanadze, the founder of social enterprise ''Kodala'', said at BM.ge, at this stage Goki is ordering in Bulgaria and is interested in bringing its main production resources to Georgia. As Kote Svanadze explains, the need for expansion of the enterprise, in addition to the increased sales figures of Kodala toys, was also caused by the factor of cooperation with the international company.

“Our Georgian toys manufactured under the Goki brand will be sold under the Made in Georgia label. Negotiations have been going on for over a year. Interest in the quality and price of the product was a factor in the social enterprise. Also the DCFTA factor. The minimum monthly order volume will be over 30,000 GEL, ”the founder of Kodala told BM.GE.

To note, Kodala's toy sales account for 70-60% of the local market, with exports accounting for 30-40%. In order to increase the export potential of the enterprise, the managers decided to expand and move the company to a new location from spring.
