Georgian Wine to Sell at American Military Bases
Selling of Georgian wines is planned at two American military bases in Vancouver and Germany.
According to the founder of Best Georgian Wines, Giorgi Berikashvili, 600 bottles of Georgian wine will be sent initially. As they reckon in the future, the volume of wine will increase as well as the military bases where Georgian wine will be placed.
"American market for wine occupies the first place in the world and their interest in Georgian wine increases annually, however, armed forces are closed and it's very difficult to have communication with them. Despite this fact, after holding the negotiations, we already received a confirmed answer, that they are starting to cooperate with us."
This will be the first Georgian product that will enter the US military base.
Best Georgian Wines produces 12 varieties of wine, however, they will export Tsinandali, Mtsvane, Saperavi, Qvevri's Rkatsiteli.
