Georgian Tourism Industry Alliance Calls for Resumption of Flights to Green Zone Countries

Georgian Tourism Industry Alliance requires the resumption of flights with Green Zone countries and additionally, the Alliance calls for lifting quarantine restrictions for Georgian citizens.

As they announced, many business entities were severely damaged in the post-pandemic Georgia. 

"This has particularly affected the tourism industry. A change is possible with drastic alterations. Therefore, the "Georgian Tourism Industry Alliance" expresses the positions of its members and shares main requirements along with a planned demonstration on September 17th:

Flights with Green Zone countries must be restored;

Restrictions imposed in terms of quarantine must be lifted for Georgian citizens and the practice of PCR tests must be introduced instead;

We hope, that this position of the private sector will be adequately perceived by the state, which will enable us, to change the current situation for the better within the framework of constructive dialogue.", the announcement reads.
