The company, which produces high-quality certified tea "Bueti", has been operating in the mountainous region of Imereti since 2019. Rehabilitation of tea plantations on an area of more than 50 hectares has begun. In 1 year, the company harvested 14 tons of tea. Within 2 years, a tea and fruit processing plant was built and equipped in accordance with food safety standards.
"Within the framework of the project Greta, supported by the EU, Sweden, and Austria, we were able to work for the whole year.", noted co-founder of "Okriba" Vladimer Dzneladze.
After purchasing the necessary equipment, the company expanded its production through organic dried fruits, including the production of apples, plums, pears, and other dried fruits which are grown in western Georgia.
