Georgian Sugar Produced by Agari Factory to Replace Imports by 50%

According to the minister of economy, Georgian sugar produced by Agari factory will replace imported sugar by approximately 50%, which will significantly affect the prices.

As Natia Turnava mentioned, the decreasing process of the prices of sugar is already begun. large-scaled local production will allow much more affordable prices on the market. In addition, 500 local people will be employed at the renewed factory.

Nikoloz Natbiladze, representative of the company noted, that the factory will be working the whole year until the end of December and plans to produce 60-65 tons of sugar, which is about half of the total market.
