Georgian Startup Elven Technologies Plans Cooperation with Tesla
Georgian startup Elven Technologies is considering cooperation with Tesla.
The co-founder of the company, Vamekh Kherkheulidze, tells "Business Partner" that the company is starting to pack electric car batteries with flameproof fabric.
"Electric cars catch fire spontaneously, without any cause. When you go to work in the morning, your car may suddenly be on fire. In the case of car accidents, the probability of the latter is higher. We saw this problem even more acutely during our stay in California since the number of electric cars there is quite high.
It should be noted that this problem applies not only to electric cars, but also to any vehicle that has a lithium battery, be it a scooter, bus, electric helicopter, or motorcycle. This is a problem that we are dealing with in a much larger market."
At the initial stage, Elven Technologies is considering cooperation with 2 companies producing electric cars in the American market, after which it is not excluded that the Georgian start-up will offer the packaging of electric car batteries to Tesla as well.
"We are starting to cooperate with these two American companies within the framework of a pilot project. One of them manufactures motorcycles and we have almost reached an agreement with them."
The co-founder of Elven Technologies announces that half a million dollars will be invested in the project. The company is currently in the process of finding financial resources.
Since the spring of 2019, the innovative technology company Elven Technologies has been working on the creation of a firefighter's fireproof uniform, which is equipped with an internal cooling system and has no analogs in the world.
