Georgian Railway to Work on a New Project with Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan

Georgian Railway works on a new project with Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. According to the General Director of the Railway, Davit Peradze, they plan to create a joint logistics union, which will be focused on customer service and shipping.

"We aim to increase the number of cargoes and the quality of cargo service. It is important to maintain the rate of oil shipments since the cargo turnover rates increase. One of the priorities is the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars route, which is currently operating in test mode, but our goal is to maintain the upward tendency.

The year 2022 will be challenging for Georgian Railway, and we hope that I and my team members will be able to improve our results."
