The increase in container cargo turnover in the Georgian Railway is partly due to the increasing volume of transit cargo – positive trend in this regard was observed in 2018.
Taking into account the requirements of the market, the Georgian Railways is actively working on attracting dry cargoes, including containers and maximal use of transit potential of the country.
