Georgian Products Renaissance to Export 900 Tones of Hazelnuts in 2019

The company GPR (Georgian Products Renaissance) exported 900 tones of hazelnuts in 2019, which, in total, compiled 4,000,000$. 

Estimated by producer of hazelnuts, year of 2019 was better than 2018. Taking into account the existed demand on the world's market, working process of the company was successful. 

"The season of 2019 is not finished yet, but we already managed to export more than 900 tones of hazelnuts abroad, which compiled 4 million dollars in total. We implement export nearly in every field. In 2019, we increased the area of exporting markets and added the direction of China. The different types of hazelnuts are exporting in North and South America, Asia, in the countries of Africa, and New Zealand. As a result, we export our product in 30 countries. The company is 100% oriented on the export. Our production includes husked and recycled hazelnuts, hazelnut flours. Also natural, unbroken hazelnuts are successfully importing in Asia.", said Levan Bolkvadze, one of the founders of GPR company. 

Despite the fact, that the demand increases on hazelnuts, it is utterly important to start a marketing campaign for the product's popularization especially in Asian and African countries, where awareness of hazelnut producing is low compared to Europe. 

The company GPR exports hazelnuts from the year 2015. The investment price of the production is 1 million dollars. The enterprise firm is located in Khobi and approximately 80 employees are working in this field in the seasonal prevalence.
