Georgian Packaging: We can Now Satisfy the Markets in Azerbaijan and Armenia with New Enterprise

"Georgian Packaging" manufacturing company of packaging materials launched a new enterprise with European standards in Tbilisi.

As the general director of the company, Veronika Gogokhia, told bm.ge, 30 million GEL was invested for the construction of the enterprise, and 17 million GEL was invested for the enterprise line.

According to the general director of "Georgian Packaging", such scale production is the first in the region, and it will be able to satisfy the markets of Azerbaijan and Armenia in addition to Georgia.

 "Georgian Packaging" produces packaging materials, cups, biodegradable bags and other products.

"We launched the enterprise with the co-financing of "Enterprise in Georgia". We haven't had an official opening yet, but we started production in September 2021. An investment of 30 million GEL was made for the construction, and an additional 17 million GEL was invested for the enterprise line.

The enterprise covers 30,000 square meters. There is no packaging materials enterprise of this scale in the region; In addition to Georgia, we can also satisfy the markets of Azerbaijan and Armenia. We have a full range of production", says the general director of the company.

Today the company employs 170 people, and as the representative of "Georgian Packaging" says, the company can create at least 50 additional jobs.
