Georgian Olive Exports its Oil to Netherlands, Brazil and Saudi Arabia
The first batch of Georgian olive oil is planned to be exported at the end of April.
According to the founder of "Georgian Olive", Giorgi Svanidze, they consider exporting production to Holland, Saudi Arabia and Brazil.
The company was also planning export to Russia and Ukraine, however, the war suspended the negotiation processes.
"We were negotiating with one of the big distribution networks at the contract level, everything was almost decided, the first batch had to be delivered to Ukraine at the end of April."
currently, the olive oil produced by "Georgian Olive" is sold in major trade networks in Tbilisi, including "Agrohub", "Carrefour", "Fresco", etc.
Georgian oil first appeared on the market in 2016 and occupied 10-12% of the local market, and today, it replaces about 20-22% of the imported product.
The company "Georgian Olive" has invested millions in the project, and as a result an olive plantation (250 thousand olive seedlings) was planted on 300 hectares.
