In the first quarter of 2019, the volume of premiums raised by Georgian insurance companies amounted to GEL 179, 9 million which is 15.6 million more than in the same period of 2018.
The company’s profit is also growing - in 3 months it amounted to GEL 8, 3 million, which is 800,000 more than in the same period of 2018.
The assets of the insurance industry increased by 766 million and amounted to GEL 230.1 million.
Imedi L is in the lead by the volume of raised premiums – GEL 46 million followed by GPI Holding - 21.8 million and Aldagi - GEL 19.1 million.
In the reporting period, GPI Holding Company paid the most compensation – GEL 18, 9 million, followed by Imedi L - GEL 12,3 million and Aldagi - GEL 6,6 million.
