"Georgian Cryptoecosystem is Ready for the Largest Exchange like Binance to have a Local Representative"

On October 7, the investigative team of the world's leading crypto exchange Binance organized a three-hour training for the employees of the National Bank of Georgia and the Financial Monitoring Service on the topic of combating cybercrime and financial crime, which was attended by more than 30 employees of the national regulator.

The mentioned training is the beginning of cooperation between Georgian financial institutions and the world's largest crypto exchange, which lays the foundation for the rapid development and progress of the local crypto ecosystem in the near future.

The training was conducted by Binance's Head of Global Intelligence and Investigation, Tigran Gambaryan evaluated Georgian market in an interview with Entrepreneur:

''In my opinion, the Georgian crypto market is quite developed, which is confirmed by the crypto booths, crypto machines and a complete ecosystem at every step. You can buy cryptocurrency everywhere and there is no problem of availability. I can't comment on the crypto-security part, since I don't know the Georgian market very well in this regard, however, how fast the awareness of crypto-management is growing and how much people are involved in this field really speaks volumes.

I think the Georgian crypto-ecosystem is ready for the largest exchange like Binance to have a local presence to give people the opportunity to make transactions at a much lower price and most importantly safely.

What I found in Georgia in this regard far exceeded my expectations. I was  surprised, because even in the USA there is complete cryto-chaos at the moment, which cannot be said about Georgia, where the level of education is quite high, especially among young people. People understand what they are doing and are tech savvy.

Georgia has given us a warm welcome and everyone we have spoken to has a positive impression on us, including the regulatory authorities who are quite positive towards cryptocurrencies and blockchain,'' says Tigran Gambaryan.
