Georgian Concrete Sinks - Lefform Concrete Georgia launches New Enterprise with $40,000

With investments of $40,000, Lefform Concrete Georgia company launched a concrete sinks plant on 490-square-meter space in Rustavi, in July 2021.

The sinks are made of German 1,000-grade premium decorative concrete that is usually used in building bridges and underwater tunnels, airport runoffs. “We make these domestic sinks with a unique design by the use of premium-class materials”, Architect-designer Nika Lepsaia, one of the founders of Lefform Concrete Georgia noted. Nika Lepsaia and his friend David Akhvlediani with an 8-year of experience in company management studied the market details in detail and decided to launch the enterprise only after that.

The idea of manufacturing concrete sinks came many years ago, Nika Lepsaia said. “Today, concrete things and accessories are very popular worldwide and concrete visuals are a very required component in architecture and interior. This idea came in 2016 when we imported 1 sink for our client from Italy for EUR 900. In that period, I realized that we could produce this type of product of the same quality in Georgia too. We made the first sink together with my friends at home. On the whole, we made 8 sinks and sold each of them for EUR 250”, Nika Lepsaia noted. Today, Lefform Concrete Georgia produces 6 varieties of sinks, 10-10 units each a week. The company employs 5 persons. Furthermore, the enterprise also produces coating tiles for the domestic market. Soon, the company will also produce concrete tables for interior and exterior needs.

“The current market demand dictates to expand the output. We intensified our sales only several weeks ago and the domestic market proved higher-than-expected demand”, the company director said. At this stage, the company is seeking new partners and conducts negotiations with several networks of stores. The company produces sinks for the premium segment and prices range from GEL 600 to GEL1,300.

“We have studied our market and a very few products can satisfy the highest standards and most of them are imported from abroad, while we offer high quality and lower”, Nika Lepsaia said. After the initial investments of $40,000, the company plans to expand the business and launch exports.
