Georgian Brand Uniki Expands Production

Georgian children's clothing brand Uniki has expanded business and launched footwear production amid the growing demand.

As noted by Uniki founder Magda Zakariashvili, the company launched leather footwear production after customers expressed such demand. “Last month we bought two different sewing machines and employed an additional tailor. We want to expand production and create due stocks. We have launched a footwear line after our clients expressed such demand. When buying clothes, they were asking where to buy high-quality and nice footwear. Therefore, we decided to provide a supply to this demand”, Magda Zakariashvili said. We sew children's footwear by the hand of only natural leather and rubber bottom, the UNiki fonder noted.

“We have taken consultations from orthopedists too and our footwear satisfies all requirements necessary for valuable development of feet of this age of children”, Zakariashvili said. Uniki footwear is sewed by the Netherlands-certified orthopedic footwear tailor. “We always strive for expansion. We have signed a memorandum with Kaspi college. This is a high-technology project that was implemented recently and will be launched soon. Part of their graduates will pass the probation period at our enterprise. This process will enable us to discover many talented and hardworking employees in the region for our new products and offer wider assortments, add new lines, open stores and launch exports”, Magda Zakariashvili said.
