Georgia to Receive $330 Million in 5 Years Under the Agreement with USAID

Georgia and USAID signed a grant agreement "To Promote Sustainable Development of Georgia" today.

According to the US Ambassador, Kelly Degnan, as a result of this agreement, the country will receive up to $330 million over a period of 5 years.

The grant agreement was formed by Lasha Khutsishvili, the minister of finances, and the director of the mission of USAID, Peter Wiebler.

"Within this agreement, Georgia will receive a financial assistance of a $ 67 million grant with the potential to increase it to $330 million." the government announced in a statement.
