Georgia Buys Coffee worth $16 million in January-July

In January-July 2021, Georgia has imported 3,400 tons of roasted and unroasted coffee worth $9.3 million.

According to Geostat, the national statistics service of Georgia, Indonesia ranks first among coffee imports markets, from where Georgia imported 1,700 tons of roasted and unroasted coffee worth $3.2 million. Vietnam ranks second with 614 tons worth $1.1 million and Russia ranks third with 303 tons worth $1.2 million.
 
Noteworthy that the instant coffee in various packages is primarily imported from Russia. In the reporting period, Georgia imported 1,100 tons of coffee worth $4.9 million from Russia. Overall, in January-July 2021, the country bought 1,400 tons of instant coffee worth $7 million.
