I’ve worked in many places since I was young. My last job was in sales, where I spent three years. But every day felt repetitive—I was just waiting for the day to end. Many of my friends are developers, and they encouraged me to give programming a try. I thought, “Why not?” and enrolled at Skillwill.
I started with a course called “Programming from Zero,” where I learned a little bit of everything—frontend, backend, design, WordPress—and eventually chose the area I enjoyed most: frontend development. About five months later, I was already employed.
The learning process was surprisingly smooth. On top of that, there was networking—we played football and basketball, and did group projects. Several people would work together on one project, which is great preparation for real-world development, where you often collaborate with people you’ve never met before. Shortly after graduating, I even became a lecturer—something I never imagined for myself.
Now, as a frontend developer, my job is to create what users see when they visit a website or application. I’ve worked on several exciting projects, including the Skillwill platform itself and a movie website.
Today, I feel genuinely happy and relaxed. I actually enjoy going to work. The environment is open and supportive, the work is engaging—you're building something new—and the salary is good. Plus, the flexibility to work remotely makes it all very comfortable.
