Forty-Eight Mineral Licenses Sold under “100 Investment Offers” State Program

The Government has already sold 48 mineral licenses out of 100 ones as part of “The 100 Investment Offers to Business” government program.

According to the Ministry of Economy, the total value of the sold mineral licenses is GEL 3.5 million. The Economy Ministry expects investors to employ 1,086 citizens and invest an additional GEL 20 million in various projects.

It should be noted that companies will obtain polymetals as part of the sold licenses, as well as chemical raw materials, construction materials, and underground waters.

The Economy Ministry provides a constant working procesს for developing new investment packages. On the whole, the Government has sold 87 assets as part of the state privatization program.
