First Georgian Botanical Drink Kai Plans to Launch Diabetic Products

The first Georgian botanical drink "Kai" plans to launch diabetic products.

According to the director of the company, Giorgi Jirkvalidze, it is yet unknown when the project starts, since this depends on finding sufficient funds.

The soft drink "Kai" was created with a formula developed by Georgian scientists and is made from 16 plants of the Alpine Caucasus. The production of carbonated soft drinks started in September 2020 during the pandemic.

The head of the company is satisfied with the sales in the local market.

The investment cost of the project is about 10 million dollars. Currently, the company employs 50 people.

"Replace chemistry with botanicals" is the main brand philosophy and will gradually offer new products to the market. "Kai" products are sold in large chain markets throughout Georgia.
