"Enterprise in Georgia" Launches New Micro and Small Entrepreneurship Support Program

As of September 16, 2024, the "Enterprise in Georgia" agency has introduced a new program aimed at supporting micro and small entrepreneurs. The program is open to anyone whose income does not exceed 500,000 GEL and meets the specified criteria.

Participants in the program can benefit from full or partial financing of loan interest through the agency’s partner financial institutions. Additionally, they can access consulting services with co-financing up to 25,000 GEL and receive an 80% loan guarantee. The support period is up to 5 years, and loan amounts range from 20,000 to 50,000 GEL.

This initiative is part of the agency's broader consulting services, designed to help individuals grow existing businesses or start new ones.

The program fully covers loan interest for:

  • New entrepreneurs (income below 30,000 GEL and/or businesses registered for less than one year)
  • Female entrepreneurs
  • Entrepreneurs living in mountainous regions

Other participants can receive partial financing with favorable terms, including an interest rate of 8.5%.

Entrepreneurs can join the program by visiting the consulting centers of "Enterprise in Georgia" or by calling 15-25. Services are available across the country.

This new program aims to boost micro entrepreneurship, create new jobs, and support the growth of entrepreneurial potential in Georgia.
