EA Solar to Supply Kutaisi FIZ Solar Panels to over 70 Countries
EA Solar Company plans to supply solar panels manufactured at Kutaisi Free Industrial Zone (FIZ) to more than 70 countries, the company’s press-release reads.
As reported, German brand EA Solar launched operation in Georgia 3 years ago. In May 2019, the company officially opened the Europe’s biggest plant in Kutaisi, the Hualing Free Industrial Zone. The plant’s annual output is 500 MW solar panels and the company’s gross output exceeds 1 Gigawatts.
“Kutaisi is a favorable strategic location for the German company, from where it will supply top-rated solar panels to more than 70 countries. At this stage, the company employs 150 local professionals and plans to create many other new job places.
In Georgia, EA SOLAR has already installed many solar power stations. At this stage, the company is implementing 50-megawatt project in cooperation with the domestic private sector”, the press-release reads.
The company’s international sales office is located in Tbilisi and provides a full set of services in any point of the world.
EA Solar holds numerous trainings for its staff and any interested persons. Installation companies are supplied a full set of technical instructions and assistance, if necessary. All installations in Georgia are carried out by domestic professionals’, the company’s founder and CEO Alexander Mayer noted.
By the end of 2020, the company will employ 300 domestic residents and they will be trained by European professionals. The company is also conducting negotiations for establishing a vocational education in solar energy and solar panels production line.
