David Songulashvili Meets with RMG's General Director to Discuss Environmental Responsibilities

Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, David Songulashvili, met with Jondo Shubitidze, General Director of the company RMG. The meeting focused on matters related to the review of mineral resource reports, licensing issues, and the implementation of the Environmental Responsibility Law.

“We maintain active cooperation with the private sector. Large companies make a significant contribution to the development of the national economy, so supporting their operations is crucial. However, this must be done while minimizing negative environmental impact. It is essential that companies are able to meet the requirements of the Environmental Responsibility Law in a timely manner,” said Minister Songulashvili.

Jondo Shubitidze expressed his gratitude to the Ministry for its continued cooperation, noting that through joint efforts, RMG has made significant progress in aligning its operations with environmental standards.
