Court of Appeals Rejects Satisfying Appeal by Savane Ghvinis 1 Kharkana
“Interest of honest owners are protected in Georgia”, Archil Tabagari, defense lawyer of Ghvinis Karkhana 1 noted after the court assize at Court of Appeals.
The court has not satisfied the appeal submitted by Savane, as this appeal was based in lies and falsifications, Archil Tabagari said.
“I would like to note that today Court of Appeals successfully passed the test and sent a very important and clear message to the society that private property is protected in Georgia. The interest of honest owners are protected in Georgia. The court has passed an unbiased, just decision that has persuaded the investors of Ghvinis Karkhana 1 that they have not lost time in vain. I would like to express deep gratitude to the court for this decision”, Tabagari noted.
We remind you that the legal dispute on Ghvinis Karkhana N1 started in 2015. The Former owners demanded for returning the appropriated property that they owned before 2004. After this, Ghvinis Karkhana changed owners 10 times.
The current owners bought off the historical building of Ghvinis Karkhana N1 on Petriashvili Street from two major commercial banks.
In December 2014 JSC Savane Wine 1 Karkhana sued against LLC Art Vino to Tbilisi City Court.
