Countries Water Gudauri Plans to Export Georgian Water
According to Nana Goguadze, Marketing Manager of a new Georgian mineral water production company, export of water in the test mode was delayed by the pandemic and, so far, the planned volumes of exports have not been reached.
"We started exporting in November 2019. In test mode, we delivered a limited number of 50,000 bottles to Russia. At this stage, negotiations are underway with neighboring countries - Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Russia. However, we do not want the Russian market to be our strategic partner, because the regulations change often and the market is unpredictable; Accordingly, we plan to diversify export markets," said the company's marketing manager at BM.ge.
According to her, it is planned to export 1 million 0.500 liter bottles per month.
"The main partners with Arab countries are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. We have big plans to operate in the global market in the future and we want to popularize Georgia with this. In the long run, in addition to exports to European countries, we will also consider the Chinese market. We plan to export 1 million-0,500 liter bottles per month, ”said Nana Goguadze.
Water Land enterprise was launched in the village of Natakhtari in 2017 with an investment of 3 million GEL and active production started in 2019. The first batch on the export market was released in November last year. As explained in the company, the company has obtained ISO and HASPI certifications, and has passed the international inspection. "Water Gudauri" appeared on the Georgian market in the hypermarket "Goodwill" and "Smart" a month ago in test mode.
