Corn Oil Produced by Qarva to Enter Supermarkets Soon
The product made by Georgian Plant Oil Company Qarva in Samegrelo in the month of September, which runs in a testing regime, will appear on the Georgian market in one month.
Giorgi Tabagari, the general director of the company noted, that the company will process 70 tons of corn and 75,000 liters of oil in a month. With this, the company will seize the premium segment of the local market.
In one month, corn oil produced by Qarva will appear in the supermarkets, such as Carrefour, Agrohub, and Europroduct.
"The negotiations with the supermarkets are underway. COVID-19 slowed down this process, but we managed to overcome obstacles and we will offer customers a Georgian product.", declared Giorgi Tabagari.
The total price of the investment is 8 million GEL and the company employes 50 locals in Khobi.
