"The construction works have not been suspended due to coronavirus outbreak and are carried out according to plan. We've also planned to finish the building of Bamboo Beach Resort by the end of this year. I think if the situation will not get stabilized, the opening may be postponed for a maximum of several months. However, the main works should be completed by the end of the year, if nothing else will interfere with us.", declared the head of the company Redco, Malkhaz Kunelauri.
According to him, they do not plan to start a new project in the region of Adjara.
"Due to the decrease of economical activities, we do not plan to start new projects in Adjara. Regulations and lockdowns damaged the business. Many do not have the means to recover quickly. The precondition for this is to open the borders and allow foreign visitors to enter the country.", noted Malkhaz Kunelauri.
The total investment of Bamboo Beach Resort is 70 Million GEL. The hotel and apartment complex unites 521 premium-class apartments, 119 hotel rooms, a private harbor, private beach, aqua park, spa, and fitness centers.
