Cigars and Cigarillos Made in Georgia to be for Sale in Israel

Cigars and cigarillos made in Georgia are planned to be exported to new exporting markets. Head of the cigar company Imeri, Tamaz Turmanidze noted with BusinessPartner, that according to the agreement signed by Israeli partners, $50,000 worth of the production is exported in Israel monthly.

According to him, the company plans to enlarge the list of exporting countries in the near future. The negotiations are already underway with several countries. Georgian cigars and cigarillos are also sold locally, in the supermarkets of Batumi and Poti.

Currently, the company Imeri produces 24 types of Georgian cigar and 5 types of wrapping tobacco. The product is sold in the local market under the brand Argo.
