Cheese Produced with Swiss-Georgian Technology Exports to the US
Cheese produced in Dmanisi with Swiss-Georgian technology is now exported to the US. 5 types of cheese made according to the Swiss recipe entered the US market in March.
The project is implemented by the Swiss agrarian school "Caucasus", the founder of which is the former Minister of Agriculture and the owner of "Margebeli Holding" Mikho Svimonishvili.
The businessman launches the project together with Swiss partners.
According to the director of the school, Tinatin Makharadze, a total of 1 ton of cheese was exported to the US.
"We continue to cooperate with this market since the latter is stable. In terms of export, we are also working with other countries, however, at the moment, it is difficult to say anything specific."
Cheese manufactured in Dmanisi can also be purchased locally in the chain stores of "Blauenstein Georgia".
