Cheese Produced in Kakheti to Appear at Chicago Hypermarkets

The cheese produced in Kakheti has entered the Chicago hypermarket chain.

''Tsivis Kveli'' was exported to the United States after three months of active negotiations. 250 kg of 10 different types of cheese are already available on the shelves, and negotiations for the next party are in an active phase. In addition to the United States, the company also sells the product in Dubai.

According to the company's representatives, there is a demand for Georgian cheese from the European market, but the EU legislation prevents the export of the product.

The enterprise is located in Telavi and currently employs about 40 locals.

"Tsivis Kveli" has been holding the "Quality Mark" of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture since 2019.
