Business Ombudsman of Georgia to Establish Contacts with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan
On the margins of the international business conference "Creating a favorable environment for sustainable business in Eastern Europe and Central Asia", which takes place in Tbilisi on October 11, the Business Ombudsman of Georgia Irakli Lekvinadze will draw up memoranda of cooperation with colleagues from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Poland.
According to the Office of the Georgian Business Ombudsman, the purpose of signing the documents is to strengthen the role of the agency in protecting the interests of Georgian business in foreign markets.
It was noted that during the forum its participants - business ombudsmen from Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan - will consider the mechanisms of protection of business rights and the importance of corporate responsibility in the development of the business sector. The event is expected to feature speeches by Georgia's Business Ombudsman Irakliy Lekvinadze, Kazakhstan's Business Ombudsman Bolat Palymbetov, Uzbekistan's Business Ombudsman Dilmurod Kasimov, Poland's small and medium Business Ombudsman Adam Abramovich and Ukraine's Deputy Business Ombudsman Tatyana Korotko.
