BTU Becomes a Member of Harvard Institute of Competition and Strategy

The University of Business and Technology has become a member of the Institute of Competition and Strategy of the Harvard Business School - Harvard MOC Affiliate Network, which allows the university to use Harvard educational resources and methodology in the educational processes, both within the courses of the "Microeconomics of Competitiveness" direction and other subjects. Teaching according to Harvard resources at BTU will begin in 2023.

In addition to using Harvard's educational resources, as an affiliated member, BTU will have the opportunity to participate in thematic scientific-research activities, international collaborative initiatives and the development of competitive institutions. In addition, BTU lecturers can join in the annual MOC faculty seminar.

As part of MOC Affiliate Membership, educational resources will be available to BTU students and academic staff. They will have access to a closed web platform, where there are more than 40 case studies explicitly created for BTU, constantly updated business content, a variety of videos from international professors, lecture materials and more.

The MOC affiliate network was established in 2002, and at this stage, the partnership includes more than 100 educational institutions from different countries of the world. Currently, the affiliate network offers 2,258 unique courses to more than 70,000 students internationally. The network's mission and vision are to build local capacity to learn and improve competitiveness. Harvard Business School's Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness was founded by Harvard Business School professor Michael Porter. His research area is management and competitiveness studies. Michael Porter is the author of 19 books and more than 130 scientific articles.
