Bank of Georgia to Launch a New Program Together with Hazelnut Growers Association

Bank of Georgia continues to support agriculture. For this purpose, the bank and Georgian Hazelnut Growers Association started a partnership, which aims to promote the development of horticulture.

Within the frameworks of the project, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses will be able to receive financial assistance with special terms for hazelnut plantation maintenance or harvesting. The agri-loans will enable the farmers to benefit from a simple procedure of obtaining financing, and receive increased amount of credit limit.

Also, in order to benefit from the mentioned offer, it is utterly important for the farmer to:

• be a member of Georgian Hazelnut Growers Association
• guide with the pre-compiled agri-technological map by the association;
• agree on the issues related to pesticides, dosing and plantation care recommended by the Association.
