Armenia Sees Fuel Price Drop as Azerbaijani Oil Products Enter Market
Gasoline prices in Armenia are expected to decline following the arrival of oil products from Azerbaijan, according to Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan.
Papoyan said the inflow of Azerbaijani fuel will reduce the retail price of gasoline by approximately 80 drams (about USD 0.21) per liter. He noted that 7,600 tons of oil products are currently en route, including 6,100 tons of gasoline and 1,500 tons of diesel.
The minister also highlighted that in 2025, 1,210 tons of Azerbaijani gasoline had already entered Armenia by rail, underscoring a growing supply channel expected to ease domestic fuel costs.
