Airbus Opens its Official Merchandise in Georgia

An official representative office of Airbus helicopters will be opened in Georgia, in particular, in Telavi.

Negotiations between the Georgian side and Airbus on the issue are already in an active phase. The Georgian side is represented by Geo Sky airline.

According to the Vice President of Geo Sky, Shalva Kiknadze, Geo Sky Technics is already registered in Georgia, which is the child company of Geo Sky. It successfully passed the European standard certification and was granted the right to carry out maintenance services for various types of aircraft. Currently, Geo Sky Technics has 2 types of bases: one - in Tbilisi Airport, and the other - in Telavi. It was in Telavi that a hangar was built, which is designed for the maintenance of Airbus helicopters and also for their parking.

"Representatives of Airbus already visited us. We had a meeting twice and went over the details. They checked the Telavi hangar, they were satisfied, they gave us recommendations, now these recommendations are being taken into account, and most likely, by March next year, we will have the final stage of this certification.", noted Shalva Kiknadze.
