According to Giorgi Meskhidze, the founder of Agroline, company plans to process 500 tons of walnuts this year, which will increase the production of the enterprise with 500 tons annually.
"Our targeting market will be EU countries since the price there is more stable, demand for quality of the product is high and we will have more motivation to produce a quality product. We are holding negotiations with Spain and Italy.
As for the competition, the demand exceeds the supply on these markets, therefore, we will be competitive.", noted Giorgi Meskhidze.
The founder of the company also stated, that their walnut will be sold on the local market in 2020. As he mentioned, there is a high demand for walnuts in Georgia and the market is fulfilled with imported products, therefore he believes that there will be no problem in terms of selling their products in Georgia.
