Adjara Group Proposes Initiative for Tourism Industry Promotion

The Adjara Group executive director has proposed certain initiatives that the Government of Georgia should carry out for the post-epidemic period.

As noted by Valeri Chekheria, the Georgian Authorities should arrange the so-called screening centers at the state borders with the aim to promote tourism and hospitality industries.

This decision will assist the country in attracting tourists and will ensure safe environment for them across Georgia, Valeri Chekheria told the Business Partner.

“We should install screening centres at state borders and keep certain fast test kits to assure tourists that they can travel in safe environment in Georgia. I believe in this case tourist inflow will extremely rise”, Valeri Chekheria said.
