Adjara Group Plans to Develop Farm Hotel in Udabno and Offer Farm to Table

Adjara Group plans to develop a new concept. The case concerns the perspective of a Farm Hotel in the village of Udabno in Sagarejo district.

The head of the group, Valeri Chekheria, said at Business Partnet that the group is working on the concept.

"Everybody wants to be a farmer for a day, picking fruit, but take a rest at the same time resting. We will offer such opportunity in Udabno, where we have almond orchards, buffalo and goat farms, we have horses, we also harvest all kinds of berries, orchards and vegetables, and planning to develop endemic vines ...It will be a farm attraction that offers the concept of ''farm to table'' to customers,''said Valeri Chekheria. 

The group has planted almond orchards in the village of Udabno in Sagarejo district on 5000 hectares. Adjara Group will receive the first harvest from next year on a 600-hectare plot of land cultivated in the first stage, and after 3 years it will have the opportunity to receive a full harvest. At the same time, the group has a plan to process almonds and will start producing almond milk, powder and flour from next year.
