ADB Suggests Georgian Government to Encourage Technological Innovation

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) believes that Georgia needs to encourage technological innovation in business development.

The ADB report notes that the country has made significant progress in developing innovative digital services, though the government can make e-commerce more credible and effective by implementing appropriate legislative and regulatory reforms and developing more effective tax and fee mechanisms.

A report from the Financial Institute suggests that the government should also pursue education reform and improve digital technology education, especially in rural areas, in order to promote greater involvement in economic development.
