A new financial institution, JSC Ziraat Bank Georgia, has joined the “Preferential Agrocredit” program. The relevant agreement was signed by Zurab Gozalishvili, Director of the Rural Development Agency, and Turgut Gulcihan, General Director of JSC Ziraat Bank Georgia.
The “Preferential Agrocredit” program has been implemented by the Rural Development Agency since 2013. A total of 14 financial organizations are currently participating in the project.
Preferential agroloans are issued for primary agricultural production, processing, storage and sales, as well as other purposes предусмотренные by the program, covering both fixed assets and working capital needs.
Between 2013 and 2025, under the “Preferential Agrocredit” program, up to GEL 8.2 billion in preferential agroloans has been issued to more than 50,000 beneficiaries. State co-financing has exceeded GEL 1.3 billion.
