TBC Launched Banking Operations in Uzbekistan Today
TBC already has its first customers in Uzbekistan. The bank started implementing banking operations today.
At this stage, TBC Uzbekistan operates in "Friends and Family" mode, which is designed for a limited number of users. The bank will serve everyone from August this year.
TBC's first branch in Uzbekistan has already opened. With a digital service-oriented strategy, the bank will serve customers mainly through an online platform, SPACE. Modern and high-tech branches will be used to communicate with customers and solve their needs.
"The launch of banking operations in Uzbekistan is an important step towards the emergence of TBC International and further development of the bank's digital technology strategy,''- said Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, General Director of TBC Bank.
This year, TBC will offer the following services and products to customers in Uzbekistan:
- Current and savings accounts;
- Loans secured by cash and salary;
- Cards, mobile banking, money transfers and transactions (e.g. P2P transactions, utility payments);
- POS terminal service at retail outlets.
