TBC Advances Georgia’s Tech Ecosystem Through Cybersecurity Education and AI Risk Dialogue

As part of its commitment to advancing Georgia’s technology ecosystem, TBC continues to invest in technology education and professional development initiatives through its TBC IT Academy.

A recent panel discussion titled “Supply Chain and Information Security Risks Related to the Use of Artificial Intelligence” brought together over 100 industry professionals and students at the TBC Concept multifunctional space. The event focused on the growing risks and challenges associated with AI integration in supply chain operations.

The session featured expert insights from leading cybersecurity professionals:

  • Mikheil Bendiashvili, SOC Manager, TBC

  • Zaza Gabashvili, Head of Information Security, TNET

  • Irakli Gagoshidze, Lead Security Systems Engineer, EPAM

Based on their extensive experience, the speakers shared practical recommendations and industry best practices related to AI risk management and cybersecurity.

The event concluded with a ceremony honoring successful graduates of the academy’s information and cybersecurity programs. Notably, more than 200 specialists have completed the academy’s training, with many now employed at TBC and other leading tech firms.

The overarching goal of TBC IT Academy is to strengthen Georgia’s tech infrastructure by delivering high-quality education, practical training, and career opportunities in IT and cybersecurity. These efforts aim to elevate the role of technology in the economy and foster long-term professional growth in the sector.
