Profit of Georgian Banks Decreases
In June 2019, Georgian banks’ profits decreased by 29.9 million compared to May and by 29.9 million compared to June 2018 amounted to GEL 33.9 million.
In June the banking sector earned GEL 345 million and spent - GEL 309, 5 million.
In June, commercial banks received revenues in the form of penalties in the amount of GEL 5,7 million, from buying and selling of currency – GEL 3, 3 million.
In June banks also received a commission in the amount of GEL 26 million.
