Liberty's Portfolio Exceeded ₾2.2 Billion
Competition in the SME lending market is growing.
With the relocation of VTB Bank Retail and Corporate (Small and Medium Business) cases to Basisbank and Liberty Bank, the TOP-7 of major lending banks has changed.
Liberty consolidated its position, with its portfolio consisting mainly of retail products (> 1.1 billion). With small and medium business loans purchased from VTB, it will exceed 2.2 billion GEL.
Basisbank's credit investment has already reached GEL 2 billion. The bank of the Chinese Hualing Group has taken over the 600 million retail cases of VTB and the same volume of retail deposits. The market expects Basisbank to move to 3rd place in business loans.
Liberty on Monday announced the volume of loans to legal entities acquired from VTB. VTB remains a few in the corporate portfolio so far.
