Bank of Georgia Marks FTSE 100 Entry with London Stock Exchange Bell-Ringing

Bank of Georgia marked its inclusion among the top 100 companies in London by ringing the closing bell at the London Stock Exchange.

As a member of Lion Finance Group, the bank officially closed the trading day at the London Stock Exchange to celebrate its entry into the FTSE 100.

Joining the FTSE 100 reflects a high level of confidence from international investors in the company’s long-term strategy and its consistent growth.

The bell-ringing ceremony is a symbolic and traditional event, typically attended by representatives of financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders.

For reference, Bank of Georgia, as part of Lion Finance Group, officially joined the FTSE 100 on March 20, 2026, after the close of trading, becoming the first company from Georgia to be included among the top 100 companies listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Notably, within the FTSE 100, Bank of Georgia now stands alongside global giants such as HSBC, BP, Unilever, Rolls-Royce Holdings, Shell, and Barclays.
