Bank of Georgia Launches In-Branch Business Registration Services to Boost Entrepreneurship

The Bank of Georgia has introduced a new business registration service at five of its branches in Tbilisi, enabling entrepreneurs to register as individual entrepreneurs or establish LLCs directly through the bank’s service centers. This move aims to streamline the process of starting a business and promote entrepreneurial activity across the country.

The service replicates the procedures of the Entrepreneurial Register of the House of Justice, providing a one-stop solution for new business owners. Clients can book appointments in advance to minimize wait times, and the bank plans to expand the service to regional branches in the near future.

Following registration, new businesses can immediately take advantage of the Startup Business Kit, which includes:

  • A business account

  • A business card

  • A POS terminal (with 3 months of free service)

  • Commission-free online payments

A full list of benefits is available on the Bank of Georgia website.

“This is another step toward fulfilling our mission of supporting entrepreneurship,” said Tornike Kuprashvili, Head of the Bank's Small and Medium Business Department. “By offering business registration at our service centers, we’re saving time for aspiring entrepreneurs and creating additional points of contact for future expansion—including into the regions.”

The initiative is part of the bank’s broader campaign, “Big Update in Business”, which includes a suite of new services and digital tools designed to respond to the evolving needs of Georgian businesses.

Currently, only Georgian citizens are eligible to register businesses at Bank of Georgia branches—whether as individual entrepreneurs or LLCs with Georgian citizen founders or directors.
